The ECE is a multiple-choice test that measures your understanding of ethical theories and concepts, metaethics, and the principles of moral deliberation as they apply to practical ethical situations.

The DSST exam is an essay test that challenges you to analyze morally problematic situations in terms of issues relevant to a decision and arguments for alternative positions and will require you to reach your own reasoned conclusions.

This course prepares you in the following areas:

  • Theory
    • Basic theories
    • Basic concepts
    • Metaethics
    • Moral deliberation

  • Practice
    • Social and personal issues
    • Medical issues
    • Professional and business issues
