  1. Information We Collect
    Registration
To gain access to certain sections of our site, you will need to register using our online registration form, where you will be asked to provide us with certain information and other personal information. For instance, if you want to locate testing centers or purchase study materials, you will need to complete our brief registration form.

    Usage Tracking
We also track certain information about you based upon your behavior on our site. Such information enables us to better tailor our content to your needs and to help our advertisers better understand the demographics of our audience. (See Sharing of Information)

    Cookies
iStudySmart uses cookies to track user traffic patterns. When you visit our site, we use a cookie to store a unique, random user ID, which is used to identify you anonymously in our database and to track the pages you visit on our site. We do not store passwords or any personal information about you. We encrypt the user ID for added security. Our advertising system may also deliver a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates.

If you do not wish to receive these communications, you may opt out using the "My Profile" section.

We may also use your information to deliver to you targeted promotions from our partners. You can remove yourself from receiving this information by changing the appropriate option using the "My Profile" section.

We may also use personally identifiable information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, to improve our content and product offerings and to customize our site's content, layout, and services. Sharing of Information
iStudySmart uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and help our advertisers better understand our audiences demographics. We do not share information about individual users with any third party. (We will divulge information only as necessary to comply with state and federal laws.)

    Affiliation Partners
We have affiliation agreements with certain business partners to bring you a better product at a fair price. For example, we have agreements with textbook companies for when you purchase textbooks through them. You can tell when you make transactions that they are separate and apart from iStudySmart. In these cases, you need to inquire about the privacy policies of the companies you make purchases from.

    Business Transfers
iStudySmart is in a continual growth mode. We might sell or buy additional assets. If such business transactions occur, customer information is usually considered an asset and will be acquired or transferred accordingly.

    Your Permission
Other than previously mentioned, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
